Hi, I’m Angela, the baker behind Doughy Delights SWFL! For many years, my “hobby” was being a single mom and raising my amazing son. When he grew up and reminded me that I needed something just for myself outside of work, I discovered baking as both a joy and a release. What started as stress relief from my busy healthcare career quickly turned into a passion that filled my kitchen with the smell of fresh bread — and my heart with happiness.
It began with sharing loaves with friends, family, and neighbors, and soon grew into something bigger than I ever expected. Today, Doughy Delights SWFL is my way of bringing people together with fresh, hand-crafted sourdough. Each loaf is made in small batches, shaped by hand, and baked with simple, wholesome ingredients.
From classic sourdough to flavorful specialties like Bacon & Smoked Gouda, Jalapeño Cheddar, and seasonal favorites, every bake is crafted to be shared, savored, and remembered. You’ll often find me at local farmers markets, connecting with our Southwest Florida community one loaf (and one smile) at a time.
